  • The Faith Church-wide retreat will be held in Montreat, NC, the weekend of September 17-19. Group members will stay in Reynolds Lodge, enjoy meals & fellowship time together, along with planned activities for all ages. Children, teens, and adults will all find this to be a great chance to get to know one another better and to grow in faith! Cost will be $30 per person per night (children 3 and under are free), including housing and all meals except Saturday lunch. Please register through the church office (803-548-8810).

  • Mother's Morning Out Summer Camp Program - This new program has just opened up to the public! There will be a preschool class (2 yrs through PreK) and an early elementary class (completed K through 2nd grade). These groups will learn a Bible story, make a craft, and have snack and play time, while their parents get a morning out! Families can sign up for one session or more. Cost for the first child per session is $10; additional children are $5 per session. To hold your space, you must complete an application and turn in a $10 deposit to the church office. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. (The preschool class is filling quickly!!) Email Edye (dcedye@aol.com) or call the church office (803 548-8810) for an application form.

Outreach & Service Opportunities

  • Operation Christmas Child - Faith will be collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child once again. These boxes will be sent to children around the world who may not receive other Christmas goodies. Details about the boxes are available in the church office.
  • We are beginning a tutoring program at Indian Land Middle School. If you are interested in submitting your application as a volunteer, please contact the church office for more details and a background check form.
  • Several of our members have enjoyed working with the Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity this summer. We look forward to continuing this ministry with the next build.
  • Cemetery Mapping Project - Interested in the history of our church site? A group of committed volunteers has worked hard this fall to map the cemetery of the old Six Mile Presbyterian Church, which was located where our offices are today. A directory of the gravesites will be compiled as this project is completed.
