A nursery is available at the church office starting at 9:15. (please call the church office at 548-8810 so we can be sure to have enough nursery help on hand!) This group may begin a book study or Bible study this fall. This group will meet on selected Mondays. Please contact Edye.
  • Super Sunday - Education events for kids are back! Join us on the 4th Sunday of each month throughout the school year at the church office from 3-5 pm to explore stories of the Bible through crafts, music, storytelling, games, and more! All ages are welcome; parents are asked to stay with any children under Kindergarten age.
  • Men's Bible Study - Tuesday mornings at 8 at the Wendy's in Carolina Commons. Will resume in September.
  • Ladies Bible Study - The Faith PC Women's Bible study meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. Brenda Tucker, who lives at 39650 Rosebay Court, is our hostess. The study for 2011 will be "Prayer". The group has lunch gatherings every few months and a Christmas brunch on the first Tuesday of December, combining the November and December meetings. A list of the topics is available at church or by emailing pinkbend@juno.com.

Outreach & Service Opportunities

  • Operation Christmas Child - Faith will be collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child once again. These boxes will be sent to children around the world who may not receive other Christmas goodies. Details about the boxes are available in the church office.
  • Faith supports the Second Harvest Food Bank by assisting with and hosting several food distributions each year in Indian Land and surrounding communities. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the church office.
  • Several of our members have enjoyed working with the Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity this summer. We look forward to continuing this ministry with the next build.
  • Cemetery Mapping Project - Interested in the history of our church site? A group of committed volunteers has worked hard this fall to map the cemetery of the old Six Mile Presbyterian Church, which was located where our offices are today. A directory of the gravesites will be compiled as this project is completed.

Support HOPE
On the first Sunday of each month, we will be collecting staples to restock the shelves of HOPE in Lancaster. Please bring canned goods, peanut
butter, dried beans, etc.
